Celia Borg Cardona acquired formal art training at the Malta School of Art and has attended the studios of Anton Calleja and Jason Lu.  She cites Delacroix and Whistler as artists who have most profoundly influenced the way she approaches her art.  Her  concern with depicting light and shade and her expressive gestural brushwork stand testimony to those influences.  Celia's works in both solo and collective exhibitions is always well received, and very highly accredited by art critics.
